Our Rehab Center
Focuses on the Total Person
At Southeast Teen Challenge Florida, we take a well-rounded approach to help women overcome alcohol and drug issues and set the stage for a lasting recovery.
Our Christian Rehab Center Focuses On:
Spiritual Renewal: We believe in addressing deeper problems through a new life in Christ, offering the strength needed for a more positive and productive life.
Emotional Healing: Recognizing the importance of healing from past hurts, our program includes biblical studies to support mental growth and create a foundation for a fresh start.
Physical Well-being: We take care of students’ basic needs, providing a drug-free environment, nutritious food, and recreational activities, all crucial for success in the program.
Social Skills: Students learn to navigate relationship challenges with peers and family, applying character qualities learned in the classroom to everyday life.
Education for Life: Our curriculum is designed to develop practical skills for success in society, covering topics like health aspects of dependency, setting boundaries, anger management, coping skills, relapse prevention, and cognitive behavioral tools.
Why Choose Southeast Florida Women’s Rehab First?
Our long-term Christian rehab at Southeast Florida Women’s Rehab, part of Teen Challenge, differs from the short programs you often hear about. Those quick fixes may help but don’t resolve the real issue. So, people end up going back to rehab over and over, spending lots of money each time. Every day, women join us who’ve been through 5, 10, 20, or even 30 short rehabs without success. They should have started with Teen Challenge from the beginning!
What Makes Our Rehab Center Different?
We’re unique because we dedicate a year to helping each person recover. It’s a big investment from our organization and the community, but it’s the time we believe is needed for better recovery rates.
Our approach includes a daily routine, a strong community, and a focus on faith. Over this year, we have helped individuals shift away from harmful thoughts and drug-related patterns. Instead, we guide them towards finding a purpose in life and adopting a new way of thinking and living. This positive change leaves no room for drug or alcohol abuse. Instead, it brings self-love, peace, happiness, purpose, and excitement for the future.
Will Forced Avoidance of Substances Solve the Problem?
Simply put, not really. Keeping someone away from drugs or alcohol for a while only works when they’re in a controlled place. Once they’re out, if their other life issues aren’t dealt with, they might go back to using. It’s not like a disease; it’s a learned way of dealing with personal problems that initially feel good. Teen Challenge Florida rehab goes beyond just keeping folks away from substances. The main goal is to help them build a whole new way of living. They gradually return to the community with a fresh life goal and learn to avoid bad choices independently.
Adult rehab centers at Teen Challenge also teach important stuff like responsibility, working hard, and taking pride in your work. Plus, they focus on being truthful and trustworthy, the basics for good relationships and handling responsibilities.

Southeast Florida Women’s Rehab Definition of Addiction
Addiction is characterized by an individual’s progressive loss of control over the continuing use of a substance or behavior. The user becomes obsessed with the substance or behavior despite adverse consequences and vigorously denies the existence of a problem if confronted. The user will do just about anything to maintain their addiction, affecting not only the individual person. Still, it can also damage families, relationships, careers, and many other aspects of life. Our Teen Challenge Florida residential program is designed to provide long-term recovery from such addictions.
Teen Challenge Florida – Final Word and a Promise
At the core of the Teen Challenge is this principle…
“God’s love has the power to reach and transform every addict, offering them a life of truth, peace, and purpose. Our goal is to clear the addict’s mind and provide the right motivations, environment, training, and mentorship to support this transformation. If you or a loved one is on the downward spiral of substance abuse, contact a Teen Challenge program first. We promise it will be the last rehab program you or they will ever need.”
